A valuation grounded in specialist expertise
Valuing an antiquarian book requires specialist knowledge. Its publication date alone does not determine its value: the edition, condition, completeness, rarity, provenance, engravings, binding and, ultimately, market demand all play a part.
What we value
- Antiquarian books, from incunabula to nineteenth-century editions.
- Atlases and early maps.
- First editions and rare twentieth-century books.
- Limited editions.
- Private libraries and complete collections.
Use the form below to offer your books, or arrange an appointment by calling 0236 740699Mobile: . For substantial libraries, we also arrange on-site visits to examine the collection and provide a carefully considered valuation. When the material is of interest, we make an immediate offer to purchase.
